Meet The Founders

Davidson Blockchain Club was founded by Oliver Tipton ('24), Jackson Sichelstiel ('26), and Liam Coughlin ('26), with guidance from Dr. Mendes as our advisor.

Together, we bring a balance of technical expertise and financial insight. Oliver and Jackson lead the technical side with their experience in blockchain security and development, while Liam, as Director of Education and Financial Research, offers a unique perspective from his work at Castle Island Ventures. Our mission is to provide students with opportunities to explore blockchain technology, conduct research, and engage with leading companies in the fast-growing crypto industry.
